Father’s Day

Challenge:
It’s typically hard to gift flowers to males, and the reason why traditionally Father’s Day isn’t treated as a peak occasion at Bloom & Wild
Insight:
80% of flowers last year were sent to a woman, with only 16% to men. 56% of millenial men would love to receive some.
Project:
I pushed the idea of ‘non-gendered’ care, through the use of user-generated content, colours, textures and encouraged the audience to think of every one in their lives who could do with some care - not just the women.
‘Notes on the fridge’
Men have amazing days, hard days, just-getting- by-days, boring days, normal days, busy days, can’t-get-off-the-floor days - just like the rest of us. They deserve little acts of care just like we all do.
The month of June brought us Father’s Day and men’s Mental Health Awareness Week. And so at a time where we’re thinking about the men we care for, we’re asking you to make a commitment to them. To congratulate them, commiserate them, check in with them, pick them up, celebrate them and surprise them - just as often as the women in your life.
Below are some scamps, storyboard and moodboards of the overall direction of the the campaign.
